QA Tester

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester to join our team on a part-time or contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a systematic approach to testing, and a strong ability to document and communicate findings. The position will be responsible for ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform extensive QA testing on our applications to identify bugs, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Review and prioritize issue lists, determining which issues are most critical and documenting precise reproduction steps.
• Write comprehensive and clear documentation to guide other team members in replicating your tests.
• Collaborate with developers to deeply understand the applications and the goals.
• Provide regular feedback and suggestions for improving the overall quality of our applications.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in QA testing, preferably within a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to write clear and concise testing procedures and reports.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize issues based on impact and severity.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in testing processes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a remote team.
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools.
• Basic understanding of software development processes and lifecycles.
